This display box serves it's purpose, but it's hardly worth the $22 I paid for it...more like $10. It's just a wooden box covered in a textured vinyl laminate, which simulates a grainy leather. My box was an 1/8' wider at the top than the bottom, and when sitting it on a level surface it does rock slightly from corner to corner. The black foam insert is not a tuck and roll, but has punched out slots, which in my opinion do not hold the rings as well. The insert is also very thin, not allowing for much support for heavier rings. I purchased a tuck and roll ring pad online for $4, cut it down to size and it functions and looks much better. The stock insert was also cut smaller than the box, which made it move around slightly, and was another reason I replaced it. The latch is ok quality and functions, and the weight of the box is decent enough so that it does not feel cheap. The glass top lid seems to be heavy duty and opens completely flat. Overall, I give it 3 stars...yes it functions, but for over $20 it really should be better quality. If you get one, purchase a tuck and roll ring pad for it ($4 at jewelryboxco.com) and some felt pads (Lowes) for the bottom corners to prevent marking it up.Wonderful Ring Storage By Princess Osceola

I love the case for the rings, however, the insert holding the jewelry is mediocre. It would have been nice to have the velvet interior versus the foam.
