This Natural moonstone pendant has very strong sky blue fire high grade rainbow moonstone cabochon with 925. sterling silver.
Moonstone is a type of feldspar known as orthoclase, with a monoclinic crystal system. Recovered from mines in Sri-Lanka, Switzerland and Burma, the mineral has "cleavage planes" that produce a silvery bluish-white chatoyancy - an almost cat's eye quality that changes in relation to the light reflected from its surface. · The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in colors, design and sizing. Since this is handcrafted Natural stone, not molded, the silver decoration holder will not be set on center.

The stones on this pendant are very pretty and a very nice size. Noticeable but not gaudy.. A lot of color play in the Moonstone.
My only problem with this pendant is that I wish that it had a bigger bale for the necklace. I wanted to put it on a slightly chunkier chain but it wouldn't go through the bale so I had to force it open with a fork. I don't think this looks good on a tiny, thin chain but it looks great on a slightly thicker chain!
