I purchased this Jewelry box for my girlfriend for a christmas present. I did a lot of research on them because I didn't have a lot to spend but I didn't want it to show so nothing that looked cheap, fell apart or was too small. I came close to buying some others but saw this one and read another persons review that described it as larger than the norm so i decided to take a chance. I can't speak to the long term strength but first impressions are great. I received it last week and firstly let me say considering it was shipped cross country and then overseas to me here in Jamaica I was stunned that even though the box it arrived in was beaten up the jewelry box itself was in perfect condition, glass and all.
The box is bigger than I had hoped and looks like it will hold a lot of my girlfriends things. It feels heavy and rich. I'm very happy with this purchase, I think she is going to love it. I'm sure she's going to love searching for things in this. I plan to buy a few bobbles to put in there before I wrap it up for christmas.
