This will work well for my wife's jewelery when we travel. Specifically, it will help prevent tangled necklaces. The only real drawback I have with it is that there is no way to keep necklaces separated. You must lay the pouch flat, slide the necklaces inside making sure to keep them separated, then roll the pouch. It works well enough, but it is not fool-proof.
