A great jewel case for your dresser top or drawer By Jeffrey A
Firstly, this is a great jewel case for your dresser top or drawer. However, it is NOT a travel jewel case ... your jewelry would spill from the compartments if you flip the case over :((
JEWELRY CASE FEATURES:
Outer dimensions: 10½" long x 7¼" wide x just under 2½" deep.
The outer lining of the case is black suede fabric. It looks great. Remember though, black shows every bit of lint.
The base of the box is sensibly lined with an easy to clean vinyl/leatherette.
The inner lid has a cute little mirror measuring about 6½" x2¼". It also has a pouch/pocket 10" wide x 3" deep. The pouch is attractively shirred (gathered) with an elastic top. I keep a couple of chains and larger earrings here.
The upper lid closes snugly into the grooved lower lid. The case is secured with a big snap closure/fastener that is easy to operate.
A 6" long satin ribbon is attached at one end between the top and bottom of the case (it keeps the upper lid from flipping too far back). I was a bit wary of the ribbon sticking outside the lid when I close the case ... but rest assured, the ribbon always folds inside the case as the upper lid is being shut ... really neat :))
It has an ivory suede fabric interior. Although not padded, it's adequate protection for my jewelry.
It has 24 compartments, each 1½" x 1½" and 1½" deep (except for the 4 slightly smaller corner compartments (the case has rounded edges).
Each compartment can easily store 2 to 3 pairs of smaller earrings or 1 to 2 larger pairs ... so there's lots of storage space in this case!
Compartments are deep enough to keep my jewelry secure while moving my case around. Remember ... don't flip the case over or your jewelry will spill out of their compartments - this is NO travel case!
At 1½" deep, compartments are shallow enough to easily reach in and pick out even my tiniest jewelry pieces.

I bought this jewelry case to organize my earrings and I am very happy with it. My dresser is now clear of numerous tiny jewelry boxes and I can now find my earrings!
NOTE: This is a well made jewel case to secure your small/medium size earrings.

I bought this jewelry case to organize my earrings and I am very happy with it. Each compartment holds 2-3 pairs of small earrings or 1-2 larger pairs. It can also hold chains, rings, etc. If you mostly have small earrings, this is a great organizer for them.Very Nice Jewelry Storage By Denise L. Wagner
